This Fall 2022 swap meet and MV show returns to the 49er Village RV Resort and adjacent Amador County Fairgrounds in quaint, historical Plymouth, September 14-17, 2022. This is the smaller version of "the biggie" which is the April Camp Plymouth, which is scheduled for April 19-22, 2023. the Fall swap meet/show is the last buying and selling opportunity of the year. Time to clean out the garage!
Here are the bullet points for the Fall meet. Come back for updates:
And the nuts and bolts:
Reservation form for both campgrounds is in the MVCC newsletter and will be on www.mvccnews.net on the event calendar listing shortly. If you rented a space in September 2021, your name is on it now. Tell Jo-Ann to confirm you want it again or request a change. There will be a deadline. Unclaimed sites will be turned back to the 49er system. Where you were at the last Spring meet does not put your name on that site for the Fall meet.
Tuesday is a set up day. Sunday is a pull-out day, not a show day.
For other campsite and cabin information, Jo-Ann is at MVCCCampmistress@yahoo.com

The infamous jeep showcase in the arena in 2019. I think 65 here and 10 or 12 elsewhere in camp. One of the April 2023 showcases will be WW2 Jeeps. Another is Military Dodges.
Here is the tentative activities schedule for the Fall 2022 meet:

Here is the official basic event info doc. You will probably have to click on the PDF to download it. It overlaps the original post and our magazine ad/flyer.
Here are the bullet points for the Fall meet. Come back for updates:
- Swap meet for pros and amateurs. No vendor fee but must rent a campsite or cabin
- Informal military vehicle show. All welcome, any condition, any country of former service. No MV registration
- No admission fee
- No parking fee
- Display/parking space for those commuting from hotel or home in MVs
- Visitor parking and the fairgrounds campground are at 18843 Empire Street
- NOTE: there is practically no visitor parking inside the 49er Village RV Resort. No parking along the roads, and do not park in a campsite that is not yours because it will not be open for long. You will be towed
- A MV excursion has not been planned but one could be added to the schedule if we have an organizer with an idea. Let me know.
- Women's gathering at 2 pm on Thursday at the patio by the cafe. Bring own food, beverage, not for sharing
- Women's offsite brunch and shopping 9:30 am Friday, to historic Placerville. Depart from 49er main gate. At 1 pm Nancy Porter is giving a talk to the Sierra Renaissance Society about Gold Rush family stories and tips about genealogy. You are all welcome to attend. Location is the Lion's Hall on Missouri Flat Road just Northeast of El Dorado.
- MVCC Board Meeting Friday 10 am
- MVCC General Membership Meeting, Saturday 10 am at the 49er Amphitheater. Bring chair. All welcome (Camp Plymouth is not just for MVCC members. We welcome all to the meet and to our club)
And the nuts and bolts:
- RV and travel trailer camping only at the 49er, no tents at 49er except free standing canopies for vending or displays
- Tent and car camping is at the adjacent fairgrounds
- Amenities at the 49er include pool, spa, cafe, kids play area, washers and dryers, restrooms, showers
- Hotels, B&Bs are nearby. For hotel info contact Nancy Porter at nancy@forkintheroadtravel.com. She is the MVCC Activities Coordinator
- Grocery store, restaurants, dozens of wineries, are close. A restaurant list will be on the separate post with the hotel list
- MVCC has arranged a group discount block of sites and cabins at the 49er with a 4-night minimum. Rate will be good for several days before and after our event, for those using the place as a base for tourism. You must go through Jo-Ann Lesser to reserve a space in our block, not the 49er office. Jo-Ann gives the 49er office a list of who reserved what site in our block. You then contact them to confirm and pay for your site. Act soon for 49er discounted sites because she will turn back unassigned ones to the 49er office around mid-August
- Jo-Ann also organizes the campground at the fairgrounds just over the 49er fence, of mostly dry sites and one row of water/power sites. No minimum stay at the fairgrounds. For fairgrounds sites, pay the MVCC in full before you arrive.
- Sellers will be throughout our event
