If one can use an IP from a m998 that is 24v, how do you convert it to be used with the 12v power source in the m1009.

Since I already own it... If it can't be converted, how is the market for a used 24v IP?

It can be converted, just use the solenoids and connectors from your existing pump.

:ditto: Been there done that.. I just took off the top plate with the solenoids and slapped it on the military pump. Worked great.. just make sure you have a 6.2 and not a 6.5 pump. Might have to turn down the 6.5 pump a little. I had to do that with mine.. way too much smoke and not any more power. I bumped the timing a tad too.. that really helped with the new pump.
