Hello Folks I now have title and license plates in hand for my M-920 and am looking forward to getting it on the road! I have read the user manual cover to cover and have primarily just a couple questions that are not in the User manual. First if I am a stop light with the truck, and I generally start and stop in 6th gear should I be putting the trans. into neutral when I am waiting for the light to change, or can I actually just hold the truck with the brakes in 6th Gear and when I get a green light proceed and work my way up from there? Next question is when the truck will be sitting idling for maybe 20 minutes or so should I be pulling the airvalve to the trans or is it OK to leave the trans air engaged all the time, well as long as the air pressure is high enough to hold it engaged?
Thanks for any knowledgeable advice on this subject

Karl

Yes the clutches are disengaged while in gear and the rpm is at idle. If I rember the clutches are between 750 and 1100 rpm so you just don't want to be hanging out around those numbers. I leave my air valve pushed in as soon as the air is up when I start the truck to help bring up the trans. temp. when cold and leave it there till I shut off the truck. If you were worried about a someone some how putting the truck in gear like you not in the drivers seat then pull it out if you leave the truck running.
