I bought one of the cb antenna kits from TMG and snapped the antenna off halfway the other day. I was wondering if anyone had ideas on a different route than using another one of those copper antenna. The pic is of the rubber base. Not too concerned with staying pure MV on it.

This is an AB-558 antenna base. Depending on where the antenna snapped off you have a couple of options. If the rubber flex base is intact and the hole is clear you can use steel mast sections MS-116, 117, and 118. You can also use the fiberglass upper mast section AT-1095 from the AS-1729 antenna. I always recommend using some silicon lube on the threads to keep the steel mast sections from "rust welding" together. If that happens they're history. I also recommend putting an old distributor cap nipple on the antenna to keep water from running down into the base.
