cb hook up

i have a cb i want to hook up in my m1009 how do i do it. do i just hook it up to one battery

i used the 12v power block on the firewall for the power for my cb

I have added several accessories ( lights, power outlet, stereo) to my M1009 using the radio power cable location from the power block in the engine compartment, into a separate fuse block mounted under passenger side. This allows me to add what ever I want (need) to the truck without continuosly punching holes in the firewall.
I never anticipate needing 24v in the cab so I rewired to get 12v from "new" power source.

How did you re-wire it to get 12v? I'm not tracking.

its the 12v power block that everthing else in the truck runs off of only the starter isn 24v
