I was given this basket case compressor many years ago. Made in 10/58 by Walter Kidde Co. looks like 95% of the parts in fair condition.
Many parts useful for spares if you have one. Does anyone know anything about these? Thank, BP

Pictures and maybe a better description would help you here. Model, or part number is also a good idea. If it had an data plate, a picture speaks louder then words.

yes sir, I'll have to get my son to help me post pictures, the data plate says: Compressor, reciprocating power driven gasoline engine, 3 1/2 CFM E32,
Chemical Corps, US Army, W.K. Part No 890070, Serial No 0328D Manufacure 10-58 I found a TM in the library of congress, but haven't been able to download it. Its a compact unit, about 30" x 30", weighs maybe 35 lbs. I hate to scrap it, may just clean it up and reassemble it and stow it in my M715 fire truck. This is a great board, I have learned a lot from it. Thanks, BP

I thought it was TM3-377, but now I think thats for the 7CFM skid mounted one. Mines a #.5 cfm unit, very compact.
Well, its not in my Horde of compressor TM's. But I did find the TM 3-377 for sale in the UK ebay. 17 pounds.
