Im stationed in Cherry Point NC and am looking for some parts(steering column and tires) for my 76 M880. How can I contact DRMO here or on LeJuene?

Tires for the 880 (9.50-16.5) are not available from gov't surplus. They are still made, see a tire dealer, they will run you about 125 ea. You can mount HMMWV tires which are 16.5 if you do some lifting. What do you need for the steering column? Post a WTB in the classified section, lots of guys are parting out 880's.
If you are active duty, you cannot pull from DRMO for personal use, you have to buy the hard way like the rest of us, through Government Liquidation.
The 880's were purged from the system 15 years ago, and are now even getting purged from thier secondary use, as fire dept brush trucks.

The information that NDT gave you is dead on, I will help you all I can. I do have all the manuals.....I think, for the M880. I am down the road from you in Newport.

PS, if you drive by building 149 (the HAZMat re issue site) it is on the road the armory is on at the other end, my truck is the red Ford F250 4 door. Just leave a note on the windshield on how to contact you.

I think you work close by (AV8 hanger). Is your M880 red with white rims?
I am working on my third M880. I might not know too much, but feel free to ask if you have any questions.

yeah i have the red one, parked outside vma-223.
