Is there any civy PTO that will fit on a m35a2 transmission.

IIRC there is a civi version of the 3053 (dual pto ports) so i belive the answer is yes. Sorry i could not be more helpfull.

Also iirc, they came in old chevy/gmc c60's

well i have two old wreckers one is a 1969 chevy c50 and one 1973 ford f600 I was just wondering if one of them will fit.

1031 pto is real close, but I think the gear pitch is a hair off. Cost more anyway.

Saw a c60 4x4 in a scrap yard this summer w/ what looked just like a 3053 (definatly a spicer) in it w/ pto's hanging off of both sides. It was a late 60's early 70's truck set up like a pole setter. I would have nabbed the trans & pto's but it was stupid hot and i had alreddy been there for 3 hrs.

Wasn't a 3053. They don't have the capability to mount PTOs on both sides.

From what i have read (on here) the civi is not exactly the same as the mil spec. Ie, dual pto ports. I will do some looking to see where the info was

More than likely true. I just read a post about a civi one in a thread on a differnt form that it looks like m35 tom was posting on. trying to go back and find it.


Until then, as you said they are single port, mil-spec only
