Clear coat over CARC

So has anyone ever clear coated their carc paint. I used to do it with weapons and really liked the increased durability it offered.

id expect that it would be much to shiny for most of our applications but I'm interested in seeing the outcome none the less.

At one time any I'd markings were coated with clear, but the practice has long been given up except in the electronics arena.

Clear coats aren't just shinny.

At the time I was using Sherwin Williams ultra 7000 with a matting agent. It appeared to have no clearcoat when dry.

I have painted some boarding ladders with a matte clear coat. It seemed to make the paint a little more durable.
