I was installing my new head gaskets on my duce and then i noticed some tiny cracks on all of the pistons! <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_mes.gif" alt="Mes">
These cracks were very small, maybe only 3-5 mm in length and they were all in the same spot; on the top sharp edge of the bowl in the middle of the piston where the little swirly tail comes out. Some pistons had multiple cracks in the vicinity.
Is this something serious? They dont appear to Penetrate through the whole piston, just the sharp edge of the "bowl tail". I really dont want to replace all 6 pistons if i dont have to!
