CUCV alternator

OK I have read some threads on Alts but could not find exact answer. My latest CUCV only has one ALT (Drivers side) does that mean I am wired for 12 VDC?

Should I or can I install the passenger side ALT and how would that benifit me if it is truly 12VDC charging?

let's see photos of under the hood. Sounds like converted to 12v. Put a meter on starter and see if you get 12 or 24.
