I have a CUCV II type A (Tahoe), it should have an OEM wiring harness and computer. Now if I want to drop in a cruise control, would it be plug and play?

No it will not as the space for the cruise control box is taken up by I think the lighting relay or some other special CUCV II device that is mounted on the firewall. I will have to check that location as I looked into retrofitting one of mine a couple of years ago. At the time I compared my CUCV II it with a civi 1999 Tahoe that had cruise and it looked like a difficult conversion.
