Got mine from Snap-On as well! Works much better than channel locks.

I bought an Inpact socket and put a bolt in the ratchet hole and and chuck it up in drill press and used 36grit flap wheel in my angle grinder and thrned on the Drill press and turn down the socket so it fit over the injector.
$18.00 socket. Or $40ish to 60ish.
I take a photo of and post it soon.
I had to do this because I loan my socket and IP timing ajustment bar out and they never returned back to me.

Are you sure that's an impact socket? Every impact socket I've ever seen has been black oxide finish.

Chrome plating makes sockets brittle which is a no-no with impact guns.

Yes it is and it finish is smooth because it is Black Cadmium coating.
just some tools have differnt finish and if you left out it will rust.
I bought this one from Carquest.

I used a 30mm chrome deep socket. Standard issue right off the snap-on truck.

This has been asked many times before and I have posted a link to this place one time before over the NAPA one. I have used this many times to remove all injectors on multiple trucks and never had a problem with it. In a pinch at first I used a deep 30mm socket, but you have to be careful that you do not crimp or snap a return line fitting.

I have a new in the box OTC injector socket for the short or long injectors used on the 6.2 or 6.5 engines. I am going to sell it on eBay. I bought one and forgot I already had one so now I have 2.
