Just curious to know the number of revolutions it takes for our CUCV speedometers to register one mile. I'm planning on rebuilding my NP208 and I want to make sure I install the correct speedometer drive gear and driven gear & sleeve so the speedometer will read correctly with my 37.5 tire size and 4.56 gear ratio. In order to calculate this correctly I need to know the revolutions-per-mile the CUCV speedometers are geared. In many cases this value is on the bottom of the speedometer face in very small letters. Most modern cars use 1000 revolutions per mile however I can't seem to find the value on our speedometer and want to circumvent taking the dang thing out. Any help will be appreciated.
