Need to replace my dry rotted tired on my M101 trailer, can I use a standard 16 inch CUCV M1008 tire on the ols style rim? i inly need to haul trash to the dump, no seeds or heavy loads.

You should be just fine. My M101 has newer tires put on by the military.

He has a 101A1 with the 5 lug M37 wheels, not an A2 with the 8 lug wheels.
I have seen people try to use newer tires with the old rims, but you have to use tubes and flaps with them. Make sure you use tubes for radial tires if you go that route.
