CUCV trailor light plug voltage.

Im only getting 14VOLTS at the plug. Shouldn't i be getting 24 for the military trailor lights? Everything is working with a voltmeter. Stop, turn, blackouts, etc. But the lights are very dim. Is this normal?

Thats all you get Ken! No 24V lights on the CUCV.

Thanks Kenny, Looks like i'll keep some 12V bulbs in the glove box for when i tow it with the 1028. And back to 24V when the M37 draggs it around.

I've had good luck using 12 volt LL "long Life" bulbs for trailers that get CUCV and Humvee usage.
