Anybody know the procedure to check and advance the injection timing on our specific 6CTA8.3 engines?
Also, I believe the GSK kit from a 5.9L will work in these engines with a slightly lower result? Does anybody have a source of stronger valve springs and a head stud kit for the 8.3? I would assume the 8.3 to have larger valves than the 5.9, so I would think the 5.9 springs do not directly interchange (the 8.3'a should be stronger to begin with to move a heavier valve head?).
