D-Day MV get together

Left the house at 0730 for a 1 hour trip in the deuce to the Price of Freedom museum in China Grove NC. They do a get together every year for D-Day. This year it was in conjunction with the cmvpa. Living history displays and the museum is incredible and alot of past and present mv's on display.Posting a few of the pics I took today.

The bus in the last picture was from Ft. Bragg-If I remember correctly.

Last time I saw a bus like that was in 1981. If I remember correctly, it was a similar bus that picked us up at San Diego Interantional and took us to wonderful MCRD San Diego CA for 13 weeks of fun and games in sunny south CA.


Same color, writing and everything. I might be off a little but it was almost 30 years ago...any Marines who went to MCRD that can remember better?
