When you say you got the dash pads from "Uncle Sam", where exactly is that ?

Same problem here too, which I failed to mention in the other dash pad thread in this forum. I ended up tightening the dash bezel screws on the sides just below the bottom of the dash pad on each side in order to "grip" the pad into place, which worked, but tends give a slight "warped" look to the dash pad. The pad itself didn't seem to fit all the way around the bezel initially. Even with some trimming, the slight warp is still in mine. Nothing too noticable looking at it, but mainly noticable to me from having installed it.

I went with a GM OEM dash, black in color, in original box. So, I think it will fit as it should with no issues...that is what I want - no issues!


I ahte it when you buy something that does not fit. OEM cures taht problem.



My GM OEM door panels are charcoal black and I've tinted my windows...95% for the side and rear windows, and 35% for the driver and passenger. You can't beleive what a difference in temperature it has made.

cool I'd like to put in a split rear window but I'm dreading that based on my other experiences, maybe a plexiglass sunroof!! :scool:
