Dash Strip

Hi Guys
Anyone tell me how to safely remove the volt meter pictured here?
seems to turn a little either way and i dont want to damage it.

That's not factory so who knows. I would venture to say, remove the black panel and look behind.

Doesnt look that obvious ... do i need to take the speedo section out first ??

Are you talking about the dash top ??

Take off the clear plastic first. The black metal bezel is held on by the same screws and likely a cojple of more is that is a CUCV cluster. It looks like the gauges migbt be secured behind that. The thing is held in with something like 9/32 bolts.
