Delay when I shut off the engine??????

So I've noticed now that the weather has gotten warmer that there is a very sleight delay when I shut off the key. The engine continues to run, but only for about ah half ah second. Is this something I should be concerned with? Is there something going bad? Or is this just ah normal summer time thing with these trucks?

My guess would be the fuel shut-off solenoid is sticking a bit.

I agree with this diagnosis. Also check if the key slot is worn or loose.

M1028, and yeah I know ah half ah second ain't much, and I probably wouldn't have even noticed it if I didn't drive the truck every day. I just thought I could head off ah problem at the pass.
