Delco Remy Starter 42MT

Does any body have any experience with the Delco Remy 42MT starter. My old Leece-Neville is unable to be rebuilt and I saw that these Delco-Remy starters come with a 3 year warrant for around $300. They are supposed to be water proof and mil-spec. I like that I can buy one from a local distributor and return it under the 3 year warrant if it dies but want to see if it's comparable to the Leece-Neville in quality before buying one. Thanks.

No, but if I had to do it again that's what I'd go with. My local starter/alternator rebuilder recommended Delco-Remy after I spent twice that buying a NOS Leece-Neville which I had to replace the solenoid on after a dozen starts.

That's my concern. I'm not real wild about buying parts with no warranty.
