Demensions for Box seat cushions

I need the dimensions to cut some MDF to fit a driver side box (not a springer) seat. Bottom AND back.

I have bought a 68 General that is missing the drive seat cushions. I have NOTHING to sit on ... or measure ... and its 600 miles away.

I MUST pick it up ASAP and don't have enough time to find or buy cushions ...

... so I'm gonna have to make something outta MDF, foam and duct tape.

The bottom cushion appears to fit into the frame ... so I know I will have to allow about 3/16 so's it'll fit with the tape!

THANKS

Both sections fit inside the frame which is 18-5/8", internal width.
Corners are rounded to a radius of 3". Stock cushion plywood board dimensions are shown below.
For the backrest a piece of high density foam, 2" thick, would do, provisorily glued or taped in place. IMHO you don't need any extra MDF there since the seat backrest area has it's own sheet metal panel, for full support.
For the bottom section use 1/2"- 5/8" plywood or equivalent and 4"-5" foam. The correct hinge brackets can be added later on but are not essential.
