First of all I finally made it home for two weeks of leave!!!! Second my deuce made it home two days ago!!!!
I had the honor of meeting Eric Carleson from Hotshots transportation. Eric picked up and delivered my deuce with great speed and accuracy!! I would highly recomend Erics services to anyone who needs transportation needs.
Well, I am in need of parts already. When my deuce arrived I lifted the hood and notices that something was missing. After a few minutes of looking I noticed that the alternator was GONE!!!
Everything else looked good, the motor turned over, but didnt fire. The fuel tank was all but empty, and smelled of old gas and paint thinner. I am hoping that a full tank of fuel and a fuel system purge might get her running. From what I can tell all I need is a alternator and she should be ready for the road!!
So, does anybody have or know where to get a alternator.
