has anyone bought a axle seal that will work from a parts store locally like napa? i know it wouldnt be the same number but has anyone found a match? thank-you

Take the OD of the seal, and the ID of the seal, also depth and how many lips.

Cross reference with any number of online manufacturers parts listings.

There is no standard seal equivalent, for the Rockwell axle, spindle/wheel-bearing seals.

I looked locally for the seals and was unable to find them . I get alot of parts from White Owl parts co. in Kinston , N. C. They are very good to work with.

I've tried Carquest and Napa... brought in old seals, tag off Rockwell axle etc... no luck...


If anyone finds them, let me know too...

meanwhile, I got mine from Saturn Surplus...
