Deuce Brake Parts

I have a guy that wants to buy my spare Rockwell axle. He doesn't want the brakes, so I pulled off the drums, shoes, cylinders and hardware. Should I bother with the backing plates and adjusters? 24 rivets and I really don't like rivets. What are the chances that I will ever need them?

If you keep them, you will never need them.

If you trash them, you will need them next week.

It is the curse of the automotive hobbyist.

You need them even sooner if you have them and then scrap them.

Clinto is dead on the money - got this lesson in spades last week. Kept a pile of parts around here for 10 years. Tossed them a couple months ago - last week spent 500 bucks to replace them!

NEVER toss anything! That's why my garage looks like it does. I know there is some good stuff in there, but who knows where it is!
