Deuce Clutch Problem

Hello all, I have an M35a2 Deuce Turbo. I have had it a few years, has run great. This year I fired it up, started like a top as usual, pushed in the clutch, felt fine but just grinds, wont go into gear, I opened the inspection plate and and the bearing and fork thingy move fine. OK I am a wood worker. I use it to put my house boat in and take it out so it undoubtedly got wet in there. Any suggestions? I haven't the faintest about moving mechanical things. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Try starting the truck with the transmission in gear. When it starts push the clutch in and the brake, if it has rusted or stuck this will normally brake it free.
