I was wondering about the designations for dueces. What makes it an M35A1 or A2? The C designation is for a long bed right? Is there a website I can read up and learn this stuff?

Here's my understanding of it..the M35 started out with the 6 cylinder gold comet gasoline engine. they were later upgraded to the ealry multifuel. Later on they were upgraded to the White/Hercules multi-fuels and designated as an A2 which was also upgraded to the newer style of composite lights and often an air shift transfer case. Not sure if that's the facts or not. The C designation is for the drop side trucks. Most of the model designation info can be found in the -10 operators manual.
