After spending all summer getting the dump road worthy it finally paid off. But it wouldn't have happened without the knowledge gleamed from reading this forum on a daily basis. I drove about 170 miles to our summer cabin with only one mishap. The drivers side mirror fell out of the metal shell. I then hauled 12 loads of sand(36 yards) for the beach and 4 loads of top soil for some low spots without a hitch. Three yards seemed like a good load. The pit didn't have scales and I didn't want to rut the lawn too bad. The lake level goes down every fall and was down by two feet now. I was able to back right up to the waters edge and dump. I even haulled six loads for my neighbor. The truck drove great and in some ways is easier to drive than my m37.
