If you are lucky and get the old cast master then you can close this thread and go read another but if you got the outher cast this will help speed up install. The pic showen I believe is the old casting and if you look at the end of the drill bit there is no drilled and taped port. The new one I just installed (sorry no pic ) has the been drilled and taped with a 3/4" head plug on both sides. You will need to remove this plug (passanger side) to get the master in. Have fun Kids.

You need to remove this plug in order to remove the master cylinder as well!

I believe the TM does make mention of it. It's one of those "gotcha" moments that bit me after blasting profanities all over the place for a good steady 45 minutes. The master that I replaced it with did *not* have the plug.
