deuce master cylinder upgrade

Both of my Deuces have single reservoir master cylinders (1971 and 1973). Was there ever an upgrade or kit to convert to a dual master that would separate the front and rear to insure some braking if there was some sort of failure? Automobiles have had dual systems since about 1963 and it seems like it would be a good idea to do this to a Deuce?

If it was a easy off the shelf parts swap everybody's deuce would already have them.
