After seeing pics on this site of deuces on the road to Amarillo, I kept a close watch on Friday.
At Vernon, south side of 287 there are two deuces and a five ton. All gassers. One M35 manufactured in 1952, one M135 made in 1952 and a five ton gasser made in 1952. All are in rough shape but would make good parts vehicles. No tops.
In Amarillo, there is one M135/M211 on the north side of I-40 in a yard just west of the 287 and I-40 junction on the east side. Looks fair.
Not worth the trip unless you are going somewhere.
