Took the newest deuce in the motor pool out today- Mesquite to Gold Butte, Nevada. We heard there are some good examples of rock art, so we went with friend's that know the area- (Retired Brigadier General, Utah National Guard, 32 years. Randy J. Ence and his wife).

A nice 50+ mile round trip, truck was the right choice- great on this desert terrain. This is the famous 'falling man' petroglyph area.

Looks fabulous! As a state of residence, how is Nevada? Gun friendly? Tax friendly? Looking for a place to bug out. From what I've seen, Cali is a very cool place but I can't deal with the political and environmental position of the state. NV is close enough by so that one could visit and then return to a more civil lifestyle. I just have reservations about the place considering the one resident of Searchlight.

Try SD, no rust, good taxes, like guns.[thumbzup]
