Well, I started breaking down tires this weekend, the first 3 or 4 went easy......and then.....I had to break out the 13,000 pound tire tool! I tried the 1008 first, but the rims/tires laughed at my 5/4 ton tool.......LOL only 2 more, plus a spare, to go for a complete set for my deuce radial conversion!

Yes on the duals, the tires are just about the same height as the 9:00 20's as far as height is concerned.

I had to cheat on mine, the slide hammer just wouldn't push the tire far enough down to allow the ring to be removed. I took them to work and broke them down using our tire machine.

Good use of an "improvised" tool! I might have to use that to get a few rotted tires off the rims here shortly...
