Did I fry the card too?

I was mounting the relay to the wall and sparkles went flying the screw driver contacted the relay grrr, glow plug system isn't working now is it possible I fried just the relay and not the card too??!!

Last time you posted about your GP system, everything was honky dory. Why were you poking at your relay with a screwdriver?

You should not have seen sparks by simply touching the relay. The red wire, yes...

Test the top(input) big wire for voltage. If none, find the burnt fusible link and replace it.

The screws that were mounting it were to long I was putting new ones on that would keep it tight the screw driver contacted the top red wire and there's a burn mark on the relay I will test the top wire was hoping it didn't find its way to the card to was thinking I shorted the relay out ?

If you touched the top red wire to ground, via your screwdriver, then you probably only burned a fusible link.

Is your GP relay still supplied with 24 volts through the resistor on the firewall?

I know not everyone does it (I'm guilty too) but did you think to remove power before screwing around with it?

Do you have a voltmeter? Probably going to need one now.

The fusible link is between the 24 volt buss bar and the resistor. Red wire.

Yes it's coming out of that one , I'm about to ask two stupid questions how do you use the volt meter and how do you replace the fusible link the directions w the volt meter suck

At the top red terminal on relay , the blue terminal is saying 12.4 , I think its working still the wait light isn't coming in all the time , so I think the card it acting up ?
