Planning to drop a tool box service-body onto a Deuce (not yet purchased) and require some dimensions to get the process rolling:

- Cannot find these dimensions though in either the TM's or in any older thread.

Any chance somebody might have recorded these already (please see attached), and have these measurements on hand ready-made? This would be for an M35a2 with super-singles.

I have a Plan B to go to, but figured i'd check with the Brotherhood first. Any help appreciated.

May be able to help out but need to know:
  • tire size?
  • wheel type? (width & backspace)
  • single or tandem rear axles?
  • end of frame would be with or W/O rear bumpers?
  • bottom of cab, or bottom of tool & batt. compartments?

- Wheel Type and Tire Size to follow (Michelins on Eastern Surplus Custom Single Wheels)
- Tandem Rear Axles
- End of frame w/o rear bumpers (service body has integral work-surface rear bumper)
- Bottom of Cab and also Bottom of Tool/ Battery Compartments

I recognize that the wheel/tire info is critical to the measurements from pavement (and hope to have that for you tomorrow). Thanks for the help! Please stand by. ~

The tires are 46" (395/85 R20).

I am realizing now that there is a whole "chicken-and-egg" problem here, and that my best bet probably is to:
- make the truck purchase and then
- pull the necessary dimensions off that particular vehicle

Right now that's my next plan (and thank you a million for offering to lend a hand). ~
