Do I need a fuse?

In the middle of tackling all of my wiring in the 6.2 M211 retrofit project. My knowledge of anything electrical is limited but I know enough to realize that fuses for big power drawing devices such as glow plugs, fuel pumps and lights are a must.

Do I need a fuse in between the Ignition Switch and where I plug into the IP solenoid though?

It would be a good idea. Fused as close to the source is best. What size wire have you used?

Obviously, the fuse needs to be the week link, not the switch, wire or connections.

Wonderful, I edited my diagram to include a fuse between the starter solenoid and the IP solenoid. It's a super basic diagram and does not deviate from the stock deuce harness at all except for 1 re routed wire. I have not made up a glow plug schematic yet.

That's a painfully small diagram, GF. Can you make it bigger?

Also, what are you trying to accomplish with your rewiring? I'm new to MVs, but I'm not new to things electrical. It's what I do. If you can tell me what you're up to, I can advise you on the fuse.
