Dome light install?

Anyone have PICs of a military dome light? I have one that is a white box and has a white and a red light in it but I do not know where/how it mounts? Also, why is this thing white??

I saw this tread, I should have been more clear. Does anyone have a PIC of where to wire one in a hard top?

It's white because it was originally made to go in Armor...like tanks and APCs...

I think you can wire it where ever you want it to be...gives you the most light where you want it.
