While convoying to the GA Rally I had a problem develop on my M1008. The first leg of the convoy I was following Stonepicker1 up the turnpike for 200 miles. I ran the M1008 right at 65 the whole way. No issues noted. While doing the remaining leg of the convoy it started stumbling at 55 MPH and under hard acceleration. When it would stumble it would belch blue smoke. This can be seen in one of the convoy videos. At first I thought I may have hurt the bottom end running it so hard but the smoke was from both banks. Right before I left the rally, JW4x4 gave me his CDR valve to try. Upon leaving Dtown and heading back the problem seemed to go away. About half way through GA it started stumbling again but no smoke. Now I'm realizing that there were 2 issues at hand. After arriving at home I figured the first place to look would be the fuel filter. It was the last place to look as well. The combo of the 2 had me worried the entire rally. Oh well, all better now.
