E-mail from GL

First let me say if this is the wrong place please move.

I bid on & won some stuff in todays auction.

Within an hour of the close of the auction I receive an email from
GL dod surplus stating another bidder would like to talk to me about the lots I won.


Has anyone had gotten the same e-mail ?

Never had anything like that. I'd be a bit weary of giving out any info to this email. Definately would get on the GL live chat to see if they have any insight. Did they also mention transferring 4 billions to your bank acct from Nigeria?

I just emailed them from a junk e-mail account.

I buy data plates from successful bidders on a regular basis. I email gl with the lot # & what i want to buy. Gl forwards my email to the successful bidder after they have paid gl. Bidder contacts me & we work it out. I've never seen anything like described earlier. David

Interesting, I had no idea they would do that.

As critical of them as I usually am, I have to give them kudos for working with people like that.

Well the e-mail is legit.

It seems that some big company in Fl wanted all 7 lots at near min bid

They only won 2 of the 7 & wanted to know if I wanted their 2.
I asked them how much & I did offer to sell them my 3 lots.
