El Cajon (SoCal) Tribute to our Military Car Show

If you live in Southern California or close to San Diego area and would like to attend or show off your Military Vehicle, then this is your chance.

I do apologize, it is short notice, I was just informed myself and was too busy to really check out the online schedule.
But if you have the time and want to at least attend, that is great. If you want to showcase your Military Vehicle or Military themed vehicle, the Car show guys ask that you arrive by 2 -2:30 in order to get a prime parking spot in the Promenade, right in the middle of the event.

The details will be listed below.

Here is my M818, affectionately known as "Fluffy" at last years event in the Promenade:


Last year there were a few old WWII Jeeps, a few newer 900 series trucks, a Pinzgauer and a few others I can't recall.


Okay, here are the details and location:

El Cajon Classic Cruise Downtown
Main Street (Usually the street is closed to thru traffic for the event)
between S. Sunshine Ave to the West to Claydelle Ave to the East
Military Vehicles showcased at the Prescott Promenade
which is at 201 E. Main Street

Times:

Event: 5- 8 PM Wednesday May 24th
If you are showcasing your vehicle 2-2:30 - 8PM

Not too many MV's showed up but the crowd turn out was just fine.
