i don't see why not if its a float style and a relay is providing the muscle, my old dodge uses a direct contact pair of probes and water completes the circuit, not sure if that type would pop a relay

The current that any water will conduct between the two FIW sensor electrodes is not enough to trigger a relay. You need to amplify this current with a transistor stage.

I could make you a simple circuit board that includes a buzzer and the relay for the dash lamp. Please PM if interested.

Just from a look at the wiring diagram, it looks like if you plug it into the yel-508 wire at the original wiring, it should at least trigger the water in fuel light. There is a tan wire and a white wire, but it looks like the yellow is on the ground side? I don't know what goes on electrically in the original 'water in fuel solenoid', as it is called in the diagram, or if your new sensor will even support the current necessary to light a bulb. It might be able to light a replacement LED bulb though, they usually only need some 100 milliwatts or so with an LED that small.

I dunno
