Engine hrs! Is 1900 hrs. A lot for a m35a2 multifuel engine? What should have been done or need to be done at this many hrs. Im looking to buy a m35a2 and most say around 700 to 900 hrs. So not to sure about buying one with 1,900 hrs on it. Any help on this subject will be great. Thank you!
Hours and mileage are pretty much meaningless on military vehicles since when there is a issue with the hour meter/odometer the military just swaps in a new one. Unless the current owner has verifiable service records you should plan on a full service (oil change, fuel filters, grease job, full brake inspection , replace wheel bearings ect.) if you get one.
