What engine is in these gensets. Duece engine (White or other). Or is it a engine unique to the genset? AC perhaps???

Info from the -12 if helpful to recognizing.

Now anyone know where else this engine is (was used) milspec only? or a varient on their diesel tractors of the (60s? 70s?). I'd guess not designed/made only for the mil but perhaps a variant of a tractor engine. Local FD is stuck with some 400hz MEP117 they need to recover their freight $ (did not know they were getting 400hz units). I'm recommending they pull/sell the engines and send the residue to GSA for auction.

yup, you beat me to it... good old Allis Chalmers.. made two or three different sized in line Diesels used in gen sets for the gummint. I may even have a new turbo around here somewhere for one.
