I just wanted to say thanks to all those who helped me with the transition to a new engine. I finally got the 6.5L TD in and it runs great. I got out of the Marines and I am driving it from DC to Colorado. Thanks again.

Sure I will post pics. There is some modifications that need to be done. They are intake, exhaust and the dog house cover in the inside will have to be made. Sounds like a lot but it is well worth it. It might be a few days until I can post pics since I am on my road trip back home but I will try my best.

Definitely worth it....did you do the 4L80e swap as well?

I have owned and driven both-and that is why I kept my 6.5 TD-I could never go back to the 6.2 3 speed

Oh yeah-pics!

No I did not put the 4L80 in. I will, but it all comes down to money. The engine a labor are expensive so when I catch up I will put it in. I have 3L80 now (SLOW!!).
