Hi im new to this site and am looking into buying an xm818 from gl and was wondering if that vehicle needs euc paperwork thanks
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
always a good ideaAlso will I need to insure it and register it before hand?
Go talk to your state's DMV about an in transit plate.. Most states offer them and a title isn't usually needed because they are exclusively for moving purchased vehicles. How would I register it without a title?
You can't register without a title ,GL probably won't ask to see insurace to drive if it will drive off ( hence the reason for inspection) but once you hit a public road insuranace is required . Do not count on pictures in add to be of the actual truck or any information they provide to be correct .How would I register it without a title?
Also have someone from the SITE that knows these trucks go and INSEPCT it for you or go with youUless the listing says "driven on to lot" and you inspect it to verify it starts , has brakes and no major componants are missing plan on having it hauled . By the way do you have any experience with these trucks? If not you should probably download the TM's and become familiar with how they operate.
It'll probably be easier and almost cheaper to have it just towed to my house, hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a total piece of junk, thanks for all your help guys
