It would say on the GL lot description page if it needs an EUC filled out. (probably does, most tactical vehicles do)

Recent listings of a couple XM 818's needed the EUC. How ever some CUCV's needed the EUC and some didn't . Read the entire listing it will tell you and in the icons on the page there will be red exclanation symbols.

And it's always a good idea to have a recovery plan in place before bidding , along with a back-ip plan. And the most important thing is to inspect prior to bidding .

There are a great deal of threads on GL if you do a search , read and learn will make dealing with GL alot easier for you.

Some will "fall through the cracks" as far as EUC's go. Be warned - if you bid and win, they will want payment right away and they will want it removed in 10 business days usually so be prepared before you bid!!

How would I register it without a title?
Go talk to your state's DMV about an in transit plate.. Most states offer them and a title isn't usually needed because they are exclusively for moving purchased vehicles.

Good idea to figure out what registration and insurance will cost you ahead of time... insurance can be tough to get depending on the circumstances.

You can't register without a title ,GL probably won't ask to see insurace to drive if it will drive off ( hence the reason for inspection) but once you hit a public road insuranace is required . Do not count on pictures in add to be of the actual truck or any information they provide to be correct .

EDIT; this thread is a good example of GL ;Has GL grown a funny bone?

There is at least 100 threads about buying trucks from GL, a truck is a truck, never mind what m number is, the paper work is the same, the GL crap is all the same,

Just watch how much you say about what you are planning on bidding on. Talking about upcoming auctions is Forbidden on SS.

Now, you should be able to get a transport tag form PA, they are not too bad. INSPECT, INSPECT, INSPECT!!!! And if there is ANY DOUBT, DO NOT DRIVE IT! Not only could you kill yourself and destroy the truck, but could kill many others.

Have Plan A-ZZZZ, ready to roll at a moments notice. You can never be too safe.

Unless the listing says "driven on to lot" and you inspect it to verify it starts , has brakes and no major componants are missing plan on having it hauled . By the way do you have any experience with these trucks? If not you should probably download the TM's and become familiar with how they operate.

Also have someone from the SITE that knows these trucks go and INSEPCT it for you or go with you [thumbzup]

It'll probably be easier and almost cheaper to have it just towed to my house, hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a total piece of junk, thanks for all your help guys:-D

Welcome from Berks Co. I recently bought an 818, I was surprised that it did not need an EUC. It needed some maintenance but runs fine. Getting it towed is safest. I do not thin Pa issues a registration without a title, but you should be able to get insurance with the vin from the listing.
