Expansible van spring mounts?

So I have noticed that on expansible van trucks (different models and series of trucks), they have the back molted to the frame and toward the front they will have spring mounts.

Any idea why they don't fix the front and spring the back instead? Seams like you would have less cab-box relative motion.

BECAUSE where the springs are is where the most of the frame twist is, if mounted where you think they should be, you WILL break a frame.

I figured there was a reason. I assumed it was because the back end was past the axle where that section was not being pulled as hard when twisting and was not supported on the other side of the mount.

They are on cargo beds too, not just the vans.
