I'm trying to make my daughters M1009 start easier. I have no power to the high idle connection or the advance. I didn't have 12v there so I changed out the sensor for a new one and still have no power to the high idle. What controls the power to the sensor? Is it just the ignition switch?

Thanks

Yes. The non green wire at the sensor on the outside of the passenger rear cylinder head should have 12 volts with the key on all the time. I have an easier time going over the engine to get to the sensor. If you have young knees. Going through the wheel well might be easier.
