few questions on starting

asking for a friend.. be a lot easier if i was there. anyway,, m1008 new plow plugs.. started fine for a long time.. relay clicks on and off. wait light stays on.. any ideas thanks

Could be 2 things.... easiest is replace solenoid switch on left side of firewall under hood. Second could be glow plug controller card which can be replaced about $150 or convert to manual which is easy with push button install in dash. Hold button in 12-16 seconds depending on weather temp and start. If solenoid is bad cheap easy fix. Controller card is in plastic box under dash around steering column. All in TM9 -20 I believe. He needs to get the books.
