Fifth wheel pins

I was told there is a difference in the fifth wheel plates and king pins between military tractors and over the road trucks, IS THERE???

The military uses a standard pin for most tractors, 2 1/2" I seem to recall and the heavy equipment tractors use a 3" version.

Only if you are dealing with big trucks like M123, M911, M916, M920 etc.
